Optima Car Batteries

The Optima car battery range is a high performance battery line up. The Optima car batteries have a unique Spiral cell design, giving them a very high CCA (Cold Cranking Amps). This special car battery design is also highly resistant to vibration, completely maintenance-free and can withstand higher temperatures than standard car batteries.

Optima car batteries are a form of AGM (Absorbed Glass Matt) car battery. The Optima car battery range comes in two different forms. The Red Top Car Battery is designed for starting and can withstand a lot of abusive use. The Yellow Top Car Battery is more of an all-rounder and is used on vehicle with high starting demands and high electrical appliance demand. This makes the Yellow Optima Car battery well suited to cars fitted with high output audio systems, and off road vehicles fitted with winches.
